ASBESTOS

Several diseases are associated with exposure to asbestos, including asbestosis, mesothelioma, lung cancer and other asbestos-related cancers. These are serious, debilitating diseases that often end in death.
Building owners are not required to remove asbestos. However if asbestos has been disturbed, abatement will be required to eliminate this hazard. State law requires homeowners to disclose the presence of asbestos in writing prior to the sale of a house. Commercial property owners are required to remove asbestos where exposed and/or poses a hazard. Asbestos must be removed prior to any tear down.Click on picture for larger view
TESTING Before any remodel or demolitions is done in structures built before 1980, mandatory testing must be done if ACBM will be disturbed. If you have the need, we will arrange to get the necessary accredited testing done. After the results of the test are known, a proper scope of work plan and estimate will be done, so that any asbestos can be removed safely, and your project can continue safely.|
